Foreign Aid & Global Stability

Following the direction of U.S. foreign policy goals, PAE has expanded its capability offering in the areas of stability operations, peacekeeping and disaster recovery efforts. As threats to our global security have evolved, so has our relationship with national and international aid and development agencies, who have entrusted PAE with some of their most significant humanitarian and peacekeeping missions. We have the expertise necessary to accomplish our customers’ objectives, whether the mission is in the remote plains of South Sudan, post-earthquake Port-au-Prince, or anywhere else our customer asks us to go.

Rule of Law

PAE provides a whole-of-government approach to our rule of law activities, from assisting in the development of civil institutions, mentoring law enforcement agencies, and supporting peacekeeping operations. Through our Rapid Expert Assistance and Cooperation Teams (REACT) program, PAE is contracted by the U.S. Department of State to recruit personnel to advance the democratization, human rights and rule of law efforts on behalf of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Our personnel specialize in areas such as Democratization, Human Rights, Elections, Rule of Law, Political Affairs, Economic and Environmental Affairs, and they play a critical role in implementing the shared goals of the OSCE’s 56 Participating States. In the past ten years, PAE REACT has recruited and deployed more than 3,000 American personnel to OSCE Missions on behalf of the U.S. Department of State.

Peacekeeping

PAE’s experience in peacekeeping operations ranges from human rights monitoring in Sudan to providing personnel and logistical support for international aid missions. In support of the U.S. Department of State and international agencies, PAE has constructed base camps for peacekeepers in Darfur and Chad; provided airfield operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo; and has trained multinational soldiers to provide ongoing support for these missions. Through our Civilian Police program, PAE recruits and deploys experts in the fields of law enforcement, corrections and justice to assist in developing viable programs that strengthen the legitimate governing structures.
